We Grow When We Serve

Part of BASIC's mission is to join in the work Jesus is doing to bless a broken world.  One way we do this is by serving others.  We desire to provide opportunities for students to recognize God’s work, step across barriers and join in.

As we live out the BLESS model as a community, a vital part of living out our faith is to serve hand in hand in our communities and beyond. Through our Life Groups you can serve together with a small group at least once a semester with our local mission partners.
You can learn more about those groups and sign up here.

Local Missions

Our local missions team desires to give you opportunities to serve our neighbors in our local communities. If you desire to serve beyond the borders of campus and live out the mission of Jesus, then contact us today!

Global Missions

College Spring Break header global

Each spring break we serve beyond our borders with partners in Jamaica and Haiti. Through long-standing relationships with our two partner churches, Orchard Hill and Nazareth Lutheran Church, we have taken teams to join in the ongoing mission thereby helping without hurting. In Jamaica, we serve at two deaf schools through the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf and in Haiti, we serve alongside our missionaries at United Christians International. The trips rotate, but you can email for information about Jamaica, and email for information about Haiti.
